To ensure your Sirène is always ready to be activated, please keep Bluetooth and location access enabled on your smartphone at all times. You can refer to the screenshots below to find these settings on Android and iOS.

You do not need to have the app open or running in the background. As long as you have set the location permission to "always," the Sirène app will function as intended.
Additionally, please enable notifications for the Sirène app. This is especially important if you are using it as a contact, because it ensures that you will be alerted if someone needs your help. The alert will break through focus and silent mode making sure that contacts receive the call for help no matter what.
For proper functionality, you also need an active internet connection. Therefore, mobile data should be turned on, and flight mode should be turned off.
