How does Sirène work?

  • Updated

Sirène is a small safety device that can be easily placed in your keychain, your bag, your pocket or in your hand. If you find yourself in an unsafe situation Sirène can be activated with a single firm press on the metal ball. It will then vibrate and emit a white light around the metal ball, indicating that it has been activated.

Once Sirène is activated, your network will receive a message saying that you need help. When a contact accepts the request to help, your exact location will be shared with them. As a contact, you can also see the location of the other contacts. This way, they can coordinate with each other on how best to help you. It is important to deactivate the alert in the app once you have received help. Your assisting contact will have to mark you as safe in their App.

Sirène comes with the Sirène app. The app is free to use and can be downloaded from the App Store or on Google Play Store.

Your Sirène will only work as long as it is connected to your phone.
