To add a contact in your Sirène app, you have a couple of options. You need either your own or the other person's personal 6-digit ID code provided under your profile in the app.
Here’s how to add a contact:
- Go to the "My Sirène" or "Contacts" tab in the app.
- Tap "Add Contacts".
- Enter the 6-digit ID code provided by the person you want to connect with.
- Confirm by tapping "Add contact".
Alternatively, you can share your own code. Share this code with others to invite them to connect by using the "Invite Contacts" button, which shows the sharing options available on your phone, such as sending a message.
As soon as your contact accepts your invitation, they will be officially added to your contacts and receive notifications when you trigger an alarm.
If you receive an invitation to connect, accept it by tapping the check mark or decline it by tapping the cross. The invitation will appear in your contact list.
Under "Contacts," you can view all your current contacts who will be alerted if you trigger an alert.
Please note that if you add someone that also owns a Sirène as a contact, they will also automatically add you back as a contact. This means you will be alerted when they trigger an alert, and you can choose to help or ignore the alert.
